- Your dispenser was designed for this day — it integrates into the full QMS rather than being discarded
- Counter-wise displays, voice announcements and token forwarding between departments
- Waiting-time and tokens-per-counter reports the standalone dispenser never had
Your old system has value here.
Systems we built ten and twenty years ago are still running — and the ones ready to retire are worth money against their successors. This page maps the upgrade paths our customers actually take, and the buy-back that credits the old system against the new — whether it carries our name or a competitor's. A working system earns a discount, and even a dead one is bought at a nominal price and recycled — never landfilled.
The buy-back exists for one reason: a customer who comes back to us after years deserves to be valued, not re-sold from zero.
From what you run to what replaces it
These are the upgrades our customers most often take — each keeps what can be kept, credits what cannot, and states plainly what the new system adds.
- From calling numbers to managing the queue: printed or virtual tokens, strict order, priority classes
- Named queues on LCD screens, or LED token displays at every counter
- Reports that show average wait and peak hours instead of guesswork
- Centralised reporting and Turn Over Time (TOT) — the average response figure NABH and JCI assessors ask to see
- Multi-colour door indicators and an LCD nurse station in place of the dot-matrix panel
- Often on the same 4-core cable (Ultra) — or wireless (LR / Air) with no ward shutdown
- From a numbered beep to the exact room and bed on the nurse station
- Toilet and shower pull-cords, door indicators and Code Blue — the NABH essentials
- A migration path a growing clinic takes when it becomes a hospital
- Interest rates, forex rates and gold & silver rates updated centrally — head office publishes, every board follows
- One update replaces a phone call to every branch and a stool under every display
- The audit trail regulated branches want: who changed which rate, and when
- Named queues on LCD screens — Pharmacy, Cash, Ophthalmology — instead of numbers alone
- Voice announcements, TAB token kiosk, and hospital or bank configurations
- Journey reports across departments, exportable for management reviews
- Signavanc LR and Air install in an occupied ward — no chasing walls, no closing beds
- A dead third-party system is replaced without repeating its cabling mistakes
- Batteries that report their own level, and calls that latch until a nurse clears them
- Production boards fed by the ERP over a cable instead of retyped numbers
- Wall clocks replaced by GPS-synchronised time that is never wrong across the campus
- Any display we made can usually be reborn cloud-connected — ask before you replace it
Running something not listed — an older DigiTech-era system, a scoreboard, a panic alarm, a food counter display? The paths above are the common ones, not the only ones. Send a photo and we will tell you what it upgrades to and what it is worth.
Old system in, discount out
Two honest tiers. A running system earns a buy-back value credited against the new one. A dead system — in the worst shape possible — is still bought at a nominal price, because the relationship is worth more than the metal.
Tell us what you run
The system, roughly when it was installed, and what you want to move to. A photo on WhatsApp is enough to start.
Survey & valuation
We survey the site, confirm the upgrade configuration, and value the old system — the quotation shows the buy-back credit against the new one, line by line.
Swap on installation day
The new system goes in, the old one leaves with our engineers the same day. No storeroom purgatory, no disposal headache left behind.
Recycled, not landfilled
Returned kit is dismantled and routed to certified e-waste recyclers. Zero to landfill — the same discipline as our manufacturing scrap.
Better with us than in a landfill
Every unit that comes back — working or not — is dismantled and routed to certified e-waste recyclers, the same zero-to-landfill discipline our own manufacturing scrap follows. If your old system is sitting in a storeroom because nobody knows how to dispose of it responsibly, that is exactly what this programme is for. See how we handle e-waste.
What upgrading customers ask first
My old system still works. What is it worth?
A running Infra DigiTech system earns a buy-back value that is applied as a discount on the new system you are moving to. The exact figure depends on the model, age and condition, and it is stated line by line in the quotation after the survey — so you see precisely what the old system saved you.
My system is dead — completely beyond repair. Do you still buy it?
Yes. Even a system in the worst possible shape is bought back at a nominal price, with a discount on the new one. We do this because the relationship matters to us — a customer coming back after years deserves better than being told their old unit is worthless — and because that hardware belongs with our certified e-waste recyclers, not in a landfill.
We have another manufacturer's system. Does the buy-back apply to us too?
Yes — the buy-back is not reserved for our old customers. Bring any manufacturer's system and it is valued the same way: a working system earns a discount on the new Infra DigiTech system, a dead one still fetches a nominal price, and either way the old kit leaves with us for certified recycling. Replacing third-party systems is among our most common projects, especially wireless Signavanc retrofits where an old wired system failed.
Will the upgrade reuse anything from my existing installation?
Often, yes — and the survey tells you exactly what. A Signavanc Lite to Ultra upgrade can run on the same 4-core cable. A token dispenser integrates into the full queue management system rather than being replaced. Mounts, conduits and power points usually carry over. Whatever cannot be reused goes into the buy-back instead of the bin.
Why do hospitals upgrade from Signavanc Lite before an NABH or JCI audit?
Signavanc Lite identifies the room and bed but has no reporting module. Every other Signavanc model records response times continuously and shows Turn Over Time on the nurse station itself — so when an assessor asks how the response-time claim was arrived at, the answer is a continuous record from day one, not a sample assembled for audit week. Signavanc Ultra is the least expensive model that records it, often on the cabling Lite already uses.
How is the buy-back different from selling the old system to a scrap dealer?
A scrap dealer weighs it; we value it — a working system is worth more than its metal, and even a dead one earns a discount on the new system. And the environmental part is not a slogan: returned units are dismantled and routed to certified e-waste recyclers with zero to landfill, which a weighbridge cannot promise.
