Mounted above each patient-room door, the new indicator glows in a different colour for each call type - so a nurse looking down a corridor knows instantly not just which room is calling, but what kind of attention it needs.

Traditional door lamps tell staff only that a room is calling. On a busy ward, that means walking to the nurse station - or into the room - to find out whether it is a routine bedside call, a housekeeping request or a cardiac emergency. The new multi-colour indicator removes that ambiguity: every call type is assigned its own colour, visible from the far end of the corridor.
- Blue - Code Blue cardiac emergency, blinking for maximum urgency
- Red - patient emergency / bedside call
- Yellow - housekeeping request
- Green - nurse presence in the room

The colour mapping above is only an example. Every hospital runs its own protocol - so the assignment of colours to call types (nurse call, Code Blue, housekeeping, pantry, toilet, nurse presence and more) is fully customisable per site at the time of configuration. Your indicators follow your protocol, not the other way around.

Availability
Multi-colour door indicators are available now on the Advanced Nurse Calling System, for new installations as well as upgrades to existing Infra DigiTech deployments. Like every Infra DigiTech product, the indicators are designed and manufactured at the company’s Bengaluru facility - ISO 9001:2015 and CE certified, Made in India - and come with the standard 12-month warranty and up to 7 years of spare-parts support.
Multi-colour indicators ship with every model except the entry-level dot-matrix panel — on the wireless nurse call system, the wired nurse call system and Signavanc IP alike.
